Plywood

    Plywood, commonly known as thin core board, is made by hot pressing of three or more layers of veneer or thin sheet glue. It is a commonly used material for handmade furniture. It is generally divided into six specifications of 3 centimeters, 5 centimeters, 9 centimeters, 12 centimeters, 15 centimeters and 18 centimeters (1 centimeter is 1mm).

Decorative panels

It is a decorative board with single-sided decoration made by precision slicing of solid wood boards into a thin veneer with a thickness of about 0.2mm. The plywood is used as the base material and has a single-sided decoration effect. The thickness is generally 3mm. Facing panels are currently a higher-level decoration material that is different from mixed oil practices.

       Blockboard is commonly called big core board. The big core board is made of two pieces of veneer glued and spliced in between. Its vertical (differentiated by the direction of the core material) has poor flexural and compressive strength, but its transverse flexural and compressive strength is relatively high. Daxin board is widely used in home decoration, and its overall performance and environmental protection are good. It is an excellent board second only to solid wood laminated timber.

　　 Many consumers choose large core boards for weight and price. In fact, the heavier the large core board, the worse its quality. Because the heavier the weight, the more it shows that this kind of board uses miscellaneous wood, or the board inside has a high moisture content. The large core board made of mixed wood may not be nailed into the nails at all, so it cannot be used.

　　 In addition, the quality of large core boards with a very low price will definitely be poor. Either the gap is large, or the unqualified wood is used. So when choosing, it is best to choose a large core board that is about 100 yuan or more. The quality of the large core board at this price is relatively stable.

　　The choice of large core board is to look at the appearance: one side of the large core board must be a whole panel, and only one seam is allowed on the other side. In addition, the surface of the large core board must be dry and clean.

　　 When choosing a large core board, be sure to cut a corner to check the quality inside. For the small wooden strips spliced inside, the gap should not exceed 5mm, and wood with bark, worm holes and dead knots cannot be used. In a large core board of better quality, the small wooden slats are connected by zigzag mortises.

　　 In use, the large core board can only be "shunted" along the long side, and cannot be used by sawing it horizontally. In addition, try not to paint the large core board directly, and stick a layer of plywood as a panel on the outside, otherwise it is easy to cause problems such as paint blistering.
